Pain Management

Coming soon

Animal behavior is inextricably linked with pain. Although some dogs and cats really do have “just” anxiety, veterinary behaviorists say that over 50% of animals with behavioral challenges are experiencing pain. Unfortunately, dogs and cats tend to hide their pain, not express it. Pain management starts with identifying the pain. We use easy-to-follow at-home pain scores to allow you to look for subtle signs of pain at home. Like most conditions, the earlier we catch it, the more we can do about it.

We are seeking a veterinary pain management certification through the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management, anticipated by the end of 2026.
